Acetaminophen
Like the above, acetaminophen, like Tylenol, is a common OTC pain medication that people typically have on hand. It works by blocking pain signals in the brain while also reducing fever. It’s best for mild to moderate discomfort and for those who can’t take NSAIDs. However, it’s not recommended if you have liver disease or regularly consume alcohol.
Aspirin
